When I Grow Up I Wanna Be a Beneficiary

After yet another brutal fight with her partner, Lizzie flees her home with her young daughter and seeks refuge at Sunnybay Caravan Park. The Park is anything but a holiday destination and instead home to a ragtag group of the city’s least successful citizens. Although dubious about the occupants at first, Lizzie begins to find strength in herself again. Then it is announced that the Park is to be sold and Lizzie’s dream of starting a new life begins to slip away.

With full access to Kev’s shed, Carl’s motives become sinister to the point where he transforms the garage into an illegal bar where patrons are allowed to smoke inside. Soon Kev finds he has no garage, no wife, and an
$80,000 fine for selling alcohol without a licence. His only ally is his recently heartbroken and sexually confused stepdaughter who has fallen in love with him. Will Kev ever get his shed back the way it was so he can scrapbook in peace?
